It was a winning streak for Sun Life Malaysia as we took home two renowned industry awards which recognised our long-standing efforts in advancing sustainability and brand loyalty. First, Sun Life Malaysia was recognised at the 2022 Sustainability and CSR Malaysia Awards, winning the ‘Company of the Year Award’ under the life insurance and takaful segment. This is the second year we took home this meaningful accolade which honoured our ongoing efforts in building healthier and more sustainable communities around us, especially supporting the underserved community. To further celebrate this momentous win, our CEO, Raymond Lew, also presented a mock cheque amounting RM 108,000 to HOPE worldwide Malaysia in support of various diabetes prevention, youth and women empowerment programmes for 2022. We also won the ‘Best Loyalty Programme for Finance & Insurance (Bronze) Award’ at the Loyalty & Engagement Awards 2022 held recently in Singapore. Sun Life Malaysia is glad to be sharing our experiences at the "Datatpalooza Experts Session" organised by Khazanah National Berhad on 19 August 2022 at the Mercu UEM, Kuala Lumpur. The session attracted more than 80 attendees from Khazanah. Representing Sun Life Malaysia is none other than our Head of Strategic Analytics, Jeff Lim, where he shared views on how to put best data practices into action and key learnings from Sun Life Malaysia’s data analytics initiatives. On 30 July 2022, Sirna Purnama, an authorised Sun Life Malaysia’s agency, had its new agency office opening at Dataran PHB, Shah Alam. The grand launch event was well attended by 70 attendees comprising Sirna Purnama Advisors and Clients and management representatives from Sun Life Malaysia. This milestone supported our efforts to expand our distribution footprint to reach more Clients and to continue to deliver exceptional services to meet their evolving protection and financial needs. The highlight of the day was the recognition of 5 qualifiers for the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) membership including 1 Court of The Table (COT) qualifier for the year 2021. The achievement marks another ground-breaking milestone for the agency.
