Our unwavering commitment in being by our Clients’ side every step of the way was taken up a notch during their hour of need this year. As the COVID-19 pandemic caused significant impact on both finances and health, we ensured our Clients and their loved ones were provided peace of mind and safeguarded across all aspects – financially, physically, and mentally.
Our latest client testimonial video in October encapsulated how we brought comfort and assurance as they shared firsthand experiences and our efforts in helping them cushion the impact against concerns such as the loss of jobs, closure of businesses, health issues and others. This came in the form of our RM1 million COVID-19 relief fund, various complimentary support measures, and extension of premium/contribution payments grace period that eased their burden.
During these unprecedented times, we can be proud that we rose to the challenge of helping our Clients and their families weather the storm when faced with unfortunate situations.

Stronger, Faster, Brighter
Similar to the saying “There’s A First Time For Everything”, this year’s annual Asia Management Meeting (AMM) was held virtually for the first time in its history. Conducted from 16 - 19 November, the conference with the
“Own Asia’s Growth – Stronger, Faster, Brighter: The Winning Formula”
theme saw leaders from across Corporate and Asian regions deliberating on the strategy and action plans for 2021 and beyond while adopting the OneSunLife values to navigate through the new normal.
In charting the course for Asia’s future growth, the leaders emphasised on the use of Digital Enterprise and data as the focus in evolving the Client and Advisor experience moving forward. Several panel sessions also discussed the importance of culture in cultivating the right mindset for everyone to play a part in delivering exceptional Client service and strengthening our presence in the region.
To liven up the conference, our MCMs also injected warmth and friendly notes during the 4 days by adorning their attire and zoom screen with some subtle Malaysian identity.

It was big celebration night on 23 September as the Company recognised the amazing achievements of our advisors who attained the prestigious qualifications of 2020 Court of the Table (COT) and Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) along with the 2019 Million Dollar Agency (MDA) and Top Producers. Held at the luxurious St. Regis Hotel Kuala Lumpur, the private dinner was attended by CEO Raymond and DCEO Ho Teck Seng together with over 60 advisors.
Hosted with upscale fine dining experience and glowing musical performances, our top advisors were recognised for their impressive efforts in going the extra mile to deliver exceptional Client experience and also demonstrating strong passion and professionalism in helping our Clients achieve lifetime financial security.

Coming Together To Fight Diabetes
Despite the on-going pandemic, we did not waver in our commitment to fight the deadly disease, diabetes, which has affected the lives of many Malaysians. In conjunction with the World Diabetes Day in November, we partnered with 5 organisations to brighten the lives of the underprivileged and other warriors living with diabetes by donating 1,000 nutrition care packs across Klang Valley.
This initiative was successfully carried out in collaboration with Diabetes Malaysia, National Diabetes Institute (NADI), Sunway Medical Centre, HOPE worldwide Malaysia, and Women's Aid Organisation. Besides supporting our purpose of helping Malaysians to live healthier lives, this was also part of our efforts to improve both public and individual health and helping the community to take charge of their lives through proper nutrition during these challenging times.
The battle against diabetes is now more important than ever as the prevalence continues to rise while the COVID-19 pandemic remains a significant threat to everyone. So, let’s together
