We are excited to share that Sun Life Malaysia is sporting a refreshed logo across our materials which should look familiar to all Sun Lifers. This move to a bolder, stronger logo with a renewed look (shown below) is part of the logo change exercise undertaken by the Corporate Office to align the Sun Life brand globally across all markets.
While the COVID-19 vaccination nationwide rollout has been underway since March, there still remains much uncertainty in the battle against the pandemic. In our efforts to address the concerns following the vaccine administration, we have introduced 2 new special Client measures namely, the RM500,000 COVID-19 Vaccine Complications Fund and RM1 million COVID-19 Medical Assistance Fund in March. As an expansion of our complimentary support throughout this pandemic period, this 2 new funds are designed to cover our Clients who are diagnosed with the virus and required hospital treatments as well as in some cases, experienced adverse side effects of the vaccine. In line with our purpose of empowering Clients to achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives, the funds are established to help address their concerns over the vaccine and provide them with ease of mind with the necessary protection should any complications arise. The funds are available for existing Sun Life Malaysia policy owners and contract holders at no additional cost with the application through the SunAccess app.
Despite the on-going uncertainty, the current CMCO didn’t stop all Sun Lifers from coming together as we had our Q1 Townhall virtually on 16 March. To start the session, our CEO Raymond took the opportunity to share the 2020 business updates where our sales managed to overcome the pandemic impact and recover from strength to strength despite the turbulent year. This achievement was the result of the outstanding work by our Sun Lifers in delivering our OKRs and spearheading the Digital Enterprise initiatives. In navigating through unchartered waters brought about by the pandemic, Raymond also shared that we achieved the highest Client Index score at 300% above target following our efforts to protect Clients every step of the way during the time of heightened risk. Highlight of the session was the Long Service Awards where we recognised Sun Lifers who have dedicated themselves to the service of Sun Life Malaysia along with their loyalty and excellent contributions in keeping our Clients protected throughout the years. Sun Lifers, let’s continue to stay focus in making a positive impact and delivering signature moments along with superior Client experience as we continue to make inroads in the life insurance and family takaful industries in 2021!
