Critical Illness Coverage for You & Your Family

When a critical illness strikes, you would want to focus on treatment and not worry about medical expenses. You might already have a critical illness coverage or plan to get one soon but what about your spouse, your children and your parents?

A critical illness cover can help you cope financially but Sun Life Malaysia’s Prime Family Critical Care-i goes the extra mile to protect both you and your family, up to 180% of the rider’s sum covered. What’s more, your family will automatically get protected, with no medical underwriting or check-up required!

Benefits & Features

	Admission benefits: Up to 100% of the rider’s sum covered will be payable if you are confined to a hospital with conditions as below: 25% - Admission to intensive care unit for a continuous period of at least 5 days with life support treatment. 100% - Admission to intensive care unit continuous period of at least 10 days support treatment. 50% - Hospitalisation for a continuous period of at least 21 days, where the hospitalisation must be accompanied by a surgery.
	Benign tumor benefit: 10% of the rider’s sum covered will be payable upon diagnosis of benign tumour (suspected malignancy) requiring surgical excision to specified organs listed in the leaflet.
	Critical illness benefit: Upon diagnosis of any of the 46 covered critical illnesses; 100% of the rider’s sum covered will be payable
	Diabetes recovery benefit: 10% of the rider’s sum covered will be payable upon diagnosis of any of the covered conditions below: Surgery for Type 2 diabetic retinopathy; Limb amputation due to Type 2 diabetic complications; Severe diabetic nephropathy resulting in kidney failure; or Diabetic coma.
	*Extensions to your family members: Extension of coverage to your family members without underwriting! 10% of the rider’s sum covered will be payable for each family member, up to a maximum of 6 members (i.e., 1 spouse, 2 parents, 3 children).
